Our History is the future. EuropeanScrum.org
> In 2005, a group of four people from different countries (Germany, United States, Spain and Switzerland) studied in Germany. During many years, they worked together in different companies in Germany, some time later, they created the first European Community of Scrum Practice. They wanted to deploy this agile mindset in Europe in most key companies and different sectors, mainly in Germany, Switzerland and Spain, a couple of months later, they referred to themselves as the European Scrum.
> Months later, some of the original authors, as well as some additional people, decided to build a more permanent organization.
> As a result, they built the European Scrum as a non profit organization to disseminate information about Scrum.
> When European Scrum was created, all work was carried out through initiatives that were executed independently, in addition to the supervision of its volunteer board.
> We invest our profits in the society, non profit organizations, and we have a high level of social, ethical and corporate responsibility.
> The sample of EuropeanScrum's work has been its set of trainings, conferences, training focused on bringing together the Agile and Scrum, Kanban, Leand, Design Thinking, Agile HR, Agile Coach community to share ideas and experiences, and to improve.
> As the Agile community has grown and activities in Europe have expanded, the organization recruited board staff to provide continued stability while supporting the independent nature of multi-benefit initiatives.
